On the Set Again
I got to shoot on the set of 24 Frames Later again yesterday, these guys are so much fun to work with! They shot episode three yesterday, and towards the end there was a lot of blood spilt! Honestly, I don't have much to say here. I was at the set at eight in the morning both days, and was up extremely late reviewing, editing, and uploading the pictures. And this morning up again early for class. Definitely check out this show on Youtube and Facebook though. You can also check out all the pictures on my Flickr.

24 Frames Later
24 Frames later is a web series created by a group of Digital Filmmaking students from the Centre for Arts and Technology in Halifax. They've got the first episode out and you can check it out on Youtube.
"24 Frames Later is a mocumentary that is centered on the filming of the last scene of an epic zombie crushing film called Wrestlepocalypse...Alan is a new director for the upcoming film "Wrestlepocalypse" after the old director dropped out. He'll have to work with a pro wrestler of the FWX named Troy "Barbwire" Burns, Saul the producer, and the rest of his eccentric crew. Little do they know, this zombie film is going to become much more realistic for them than they expected."I definitely recommend watching this series, it's gonna get interesting. I've got a bunch of pictures up on my Flickr, and I'm not the only photographer shooting on the set. You can check out some of the other pictures that have been done for them on their Facebook.

Buskers Again
I was so excited, I got to shoot at the Busker's Festival again. This time I was only able to see these guys, Lords of Strut, but I'm not complaining. They were hilarious. I got a bunch of good shots, and a couple times they even stopped to pose for us!
I had a little bit of fun with this picture. If you look in the right spot you can tell I actually did play with it, but it made this picture pretty amusing. One body has two heads and three arms! Of course, I didn't originally take the picture with this amusing merger in mind, but I think it worked out okay.
Now, I'm starting to realize live performances are not a strong point of mine. The sun and the shade make me a little crazy, especially if it's cloudy. And I keep thinking it's a good idea to drop my shutter speed for whatever reason, which gave a good bit of my images camera shake. It's so disappointing when you've got a good shot thats just so slightly fuzzy. I'm anxious to get back to studio work again.
In the meantime though, check out the rest of the pictures of these guys on my Flickr.

Buskers Festival
I was able to go take some pictures a few days ago at the festival and I saw some crazy stuff. You can check out the pictures on my Flickr, these guys are called Throw 2 Catch.
I was pretty excited to find this picture too when I was going through all the ones I took, it looks like he's standing on his tiptoes on top of the BMO building. Mergers for the win!

Zombies
Today I got to shoot at the cemetery at the start of the 2011 Halifax Zombie Walk, and I saw tons of zombies! I was lucky none of them bit me while I was picture stalking them. Unfortunately I wasn't able to follow them for the whole route, but I'm sure they scared more than a few people. You can check out all of the neat pictures I got, including this one, on my Flickr.
